As well as our specialised spare parts service, we also offer
a Ruston/English Electric engine reconditioning service for
engines with high running hours or in need of repair.
All work is carried out in-house in our large and fully equipped
workshop repair facility by our factory trained engineers.
This service has proved to be popular with a number of operators,
allowing them to economically extend the operating life of
their original engine with what is virtually a new engine.
We have supplied fully reconditioned Ruston engines to a
diverse range of operators including Tug Owners, Deep Sea
Trawlers, European Rail Locomotive Corporations and Government
owned Power Generation Authorities.
The units can be reconditioned to whatever level is required,
from repair and basic overhaul up to completely 'As New' condition.
Engines and components can be supplied with full class society
certification such as Lloyds Register.
The condition in which the reconditioned engines have arrived
back with the customer has been the subject of stunned praise
and in some cases has led to repeat orders for additional
units.
Performance figures matching those taken when the engine
was first built many years ago was a source of great pride
for our engineers.
