Ruston legacy/heritage engines sales and support

EDS have long been proud to hold the worlds largest independent stock of new and reconditioned parts and complete engines for Ruston Engines, including many for the legacy/heritage engines for which companies have now scaled back their stock and ongoing support.

Since its creation 30 years ago, EDS has purchased more than 100 Ruston engines, including RK270, RKCM, RK215, RK3C, AP230 and English Electric CSV engines, giving us unrivalled stock to support Ruston engine operators in Marine, Power Generation, Rail, Offshore and Naval/Defence applications in more than 120 countries.

As a result of this unrivalled inventory as well as sales of new and reconditioned parts we also still sell compete Ruston engines to customer around the world. These are a mixture of sales for urgently requoted repairs, usually involving a Crankshaft for which in many cases New would ne too expensive, too long a lead time or even NLA. Or for companies who want to hold strategic stock to enable them to be sure they can cover any eventuality needed for their Ruston engines and keep their valuable assets, whether they be operating Fast Ferries, Ships, Tugs, Power Stations, Rail Locomotives or Naval and Coast Guard vessels, in operation for many years to come.
