Service Team And Technical Support

As the company employing the largest number of former Ruston Diesels Service and Technical staff we have a large and highly respected team of ex-Ruston Service Engineers with an unrivalled knowledge and experience gained from working on Ruston RK diesel and gas engines. They have installed, commissioned, repaired or maintained literally hundreds of Ruston engines between them over the last 30-40 years.

We also have former Wartsila, Bergen and CAT/MaK Service Engineers enabling us to also offer support to operators of those engines alongside our unique Ruston engine capabilities.

Our team have a particular experience with Ruston RK270 and RKC engines, with engineers who have installed, commissioned and repaired many of the RK270 engines powering Fast Ferries, Naval Vessels, Tugs and Offshore Platforms as well as those used for land based power generation duties. We know the how the engines operating characteristics change over time, what challenges this starts to brings for the end user and can advise on how to help mitigate any problems.

With an eye to the future we have also started an Engineering Apprenticeship Programme, which is unusual in our industry over recent years. The programme is already starting to produce results with three technicians already finishing the course and moving on the full field service work and a further three starting the training course last year.
