We are able to offer an extremely competitive Spare Parts and Service Team package to operators of RUSTON RK270 powered FAST FERRIES / HSC’s around the world
Service Team And Technical Support
We have a highly respected team of ex-Ruston Service Engineers with an unrivalled knowledge and experience of working on Ruston and English Electric diesel and gas engines. Between them they have installed, commissioned and repaired hundreds of RUSTON engines around the world over the last forty years.
We are not the sort of company who tries to do everything by claiming we have inordinate numbers of ‘Engineers’, when the reality is many are anything but. Nor do we send people simply with the right logo on their new overalls but who have virtually no experience on the engines they are sent to work on, an increasingly used ‘trick’ these days and one which creates the largest number of complaints from Superintendents and other customers. What we do offer is a team of bone fide Specialists, who know these engines inside out and can offer unrivalled expertise on the engines gained from many years’ experience of working on them around the world. As well as supplying Engineers to carry our repair and overhaul work, we can offer advice and technical support to customers on how to operate their engines more effectively and efficiently.
The Team have a particular experience with Ruston RK270 engines, with engineers who have installed, commissioned and repaired many of the RK270 engines in Fast Ferries, Tugs and Naval Vessels. We also have engineers who were involved with the RK215 powered locomotives around the world as well as ex-Wartsila Senior Engineers. As well as repair and overhaul work we also specialise in removal and relocation of engines and generator sets of all sizes.
With an eye to the future we have also recently started an Apprenticeship Programme, which is quite unusual in this industry over the last few years. The programme started last year and we already have three Apprentice’s undertaking a training and studying programme to enable to be able to assist the Senior Service Engineers going forward.
