There really is not a lot left to be said about the wonderful old ENGLISH ELECTRIC CSV/SV engines that hasn’t already been said. When looked after properly they are wonderfully reliable old girls and it is a testament to their reliability that so many of them are still in use around the world today.

Despite some of them being made in the 1960’s many of these fabulous engines are still running strong and we are delighted to have a sizeable customer base still operating them, who take advantage of the fact that we still continue to stock new parts for the CSV engine range. Added to our unrivalled inventory of Reconditioned parts and complete 8, 12 and 16 cylinder engines this allows us to continue to offer full support to operators in Rail Traction, Marine and Power Generation applications. We also have our own team of factory trained Service Engineers who spent many years at Vulcan Works and out in the field working on these engines.

In addition to our parts supply and Technical Service Support we offer a cost effective life extension program for the ENGLISH ELECTRIC CSVT engine. This is proving to be increasingly popular with Rail companies around the world with us having supplied over a dozen reconditioned engines in the last few years. Engines can be remanufactured to any specification required from the basic overhaul right through to total strip down and start again rebuilds to bring the engines back to ‘As New’ condition.
